The regular Flickering Dreams film review podcast features this week:

In this celebratory 50th episode Bob, Scott and Andy review the following films:

  • Gassed Up: a gritty urban thriller set among moped gangs in London;
  • Suncoast: on Disney+, a bittersweet coming of age story against a background of grief;
  • Lover, Stalker, Killer: on Netflix, a documentary about a bizarre true crime story; and
  • The Promised Land: an unusual Danish 18th century Western with Mads Mikkelsen.

We also run through the UK/Ireland Top 10 at the box office and play another round of our competitive film quiz (video version only).

And in Any Other Business: we mention the BAFTAs on Sunday and look at this year’s crop of Superbowl ad trailers, including the much anticipated Deadpool and Wolverine. Andy also previews a forthcoming film on streaming called “Head Shot”.
