In Episode 32 of Flickering Dreams I’m joined by Andy Godfrey of Sorted Magazine and Konnect Radio, and Scott Forbes of The Forbes Film and TV Review.

In this episode Bob, Scott and Andy review the following films:

  • The Creator: the new blockbuster Sci-Fi from Gareth Edwards;
  • The Old Oak: the latest from Ken Loach regarding Syrian refugees in a Northern town;
  • Nowhere (Netflix): a pregnant lady is literally all at sea;
  • Flora and Son (Apple TV+): romantic drama over a delinquent son;
  • The Great Escaper: old timers Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson (in her last film), and;
  • Saw X: more torture-porn at the hands of the Jigsaw.

And in AOB, we say RIP to Michael Gambon; get obsessed with carrots; and I Bob provides more feedback on the latest London Film Festival films he’s seen.
