“Blithe Spirit” Plot summary:

Charles Condomine (Dan Stevens) is a well-known crime writer working on his first screenplay. His wife Ruth (Isla Fisher) is the daughter of a studio boss commissioning the work. But he has writer’s block – – principally because his dead wife Elvira (Leslie Mann) was the force behind his work! In desperation, looking for inspiration, he hires dodgy psychic Madame Arcati (Judi Dench) to conduct a séance at his house. But he gets more than he bargains for when Elvira – the Blithe Spirit – materialises to wreak havoc on his work (positively) and his marriage (negatively).
